“ Florian is a cute cafe/restaurant that will usually have a line and wait for a table. The venue itself is beautiful and has some nice charm with plenty of dining options inside and out. Staff here are friendly and helpful although due to their busyness you may wait a little for coffee and food. The menu here is not extensive and servings are more on the small to medium size but you will walk out of here satisfied but never overly full. The breakfast menu is different and more around European style dining. The ingredients are quality and flavours are good. The omelette here is definitely worth a try! ”

Pictured is the: Tomato tartine with olive tapenade crispy shallots and tarragon ($22) Herb and gruyere omelette ($20) The tomato tartine was delicious, a more upscale take on bruschetta if you will. I particularly loved the marriage of flavours of the tomato, tapenade, and tarragon. I loved it but wish it was a tad more filling. I was informed that the omelette was absolutely delicious, with it being a signature dish of Florian. It is absolutely packed here on a weekend. We had to line up and wait for 15 or so minutes (be careful because people were sneaking in!). It’s gorgeous here with beautiful golden tables to sit on outside, to tiers of seating inside and bar seating (love). Overall 3.9 ⭐ out of 5. ”
“ Lovely cafe with awesome vibes and interesting dishes. Won’t find a muffin or smashed avo or eggs benny here but there are a range of awesome dishes to try - I tried the rainbow trout and it was delicious! The coffee was also good. ”
“ Not a sandwich kinda gal, but this was the best I have had. There’s usually a long queue to be seated the staff are friendly and its a leafy area of Carlton =) ”
